Social Responsibility
Social Responsibility

Award-winning hospitality and essential facilities are just the start. We share a deep belief in sustainability and social responsibility with our operating partners. These values help form our Six Pillars of Social Responsibility and are present in everything we do, from how we operate to how we define our commitments.

When designing our lounges we seek to meet LEED Gold certification standards. Our design team's thoughtful approach to material and fixture selections prioritizes:

Healthy, low-emitting and low impact materials, as well as recycled content.

Energy-efficient USB power charging outlets for digital devices.

Energy-efficient lighting and Energy Star-certified equipment.

Water-efficient plumbing fixtures throughout the lounge.

We work with local vendors - deepening our investment in the local and regional economy, minimizing our environmental footprint, and allowing us to give guests an authentic taste of local hospitality.

Art and photography is a great way to get to know an area. That’s why we build strong connections to the local creative community, seeking out both established and up-and-coming artists.

Fair, inclusive and sustainable business practices matter to us. We are committed to reducing packaging, energy and water consumption in all aspects of our lounges, operations, and our suppliers. There are a few ways we do this:

We observe ethical practices when we source products, whether that’s cage-free eggs, sustainable palm oil or plastic-free, disposable paper products.

Our meat and fish suppliers must meet strict animal welfare and sustainable seafood charters.

Our lounges are cleaned using eco-friendly products.

Instead of single-use plastics, you'll find paper straws, wooden stirrers, and reusable service ware in our lounges.

Teas and coffees are 100% USDA certified organic. 80% of our teas are fair-trade. All are designated Halal, Kosher and Pareve.

From food to plastic, we've committed ourselves to reducing waste. We do this by driving awareness and changing behavior. Our efforts include:

Using an innovative waste reduction system that captures live data on food waste so that we can take immediate action.

Training employees on best practices to avoid food waste.

Using reusable and washable flatware and tableware.

Following local best practices for recycling.

Playing our part to make your journey better, we design our lounges to be soothing and comfortable, with a clear focus on the health and wellbeing of our guests. Our commitment to health and wellness includes:

A broad selection of local, nutritious food, including options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets.

We display nutritional and allergen information in our lounges, so guests can make informed choices about what they eat.

Sometimes, travel is stressful. That’s why we have dedicated rest zones with loungers for you to kick back and unwind on ahead of your flight.
